Grant Stone Works Up Its Diesel Boot In Calf Suede

Everyone needs a good everyday service boot. Sure, there are other styles out there –  engineers, pecos, chelseas, etc. But for versatility and adaptability, you really can’t beat the good ol’ six-inch service boot. We at Heddels, with our newish shop, have been hard at work sourcing solid and affordable footwear (and more) and we have a real treat for you here from Grant Stone.

The Diesel Boot in Storm Suede is everything we like about the standard service boot, but with a lil added pizzazz. The boot features 360-degree Goodyear welting, seven eyelets, speed hooks, and other industry-standard details like cork filling and a steel shank.

Where the boot differs from your average pair of Boondockers is its steel-gray suede from the Charles F. Stead tannery in England and its clean, contrasting Vibram sole that looks like it will be as easy on the feet as it is on the eyes. The whole ensemble blends together seamlessly, giving new life to a staple stomper.

Each pair is made by expert craftspeople in Xiamen, China, and comes complete with a set of leather and a set of cotton laces

Available for $285 at the Heddels Shop
