Private White V.C. Crafts An All-British Moleskin Bomber

If this Private White V.C. Moleskin Bomber isn’t the most British A-1 jacket, I don’t know what is. As well as being manufactured in the U.K., the cotton for its lining is milled in Lancashire, England, and all hardware is British-made –  right down to the military-grade gunmetal snaps and horn combat buttons. It’s a terribly British affair indeed, old chap.

Private White V.C. has altered this design from the original A-1 in a unique way, too –  a repositioning of the front flap pockets (now with side-entry!) and the addition of two interior snap-closing pockets. This blighty-born bad boy also has contrasting wool ribbing at the cuff and collar, a rivet-reinforced locker loop, and a Private White V.C. neck label.

Oh, and that rich, chocolatey fabric it’s made from? That’ll be British-woven water-resistant, ECOSEAM© finished brown moleskin, a rough and rugged cloth that will grow in character for many years to come.
