Warehouse Reproduces the Lesser Known 1205 Military Chinos

For a faithful reproduction with no added frills, there are not many brands that can compete with historic Osaka 5 brand, Warehouse. Case in point, their 1205 Military Chinos.

These pants are a wonderful example of functionality turning fashionable and Warehouse is celebrating this with an enduring design. Modeled after the US Army issued M45 pant, the 1205s are all about the buttons, featuring a button fly and waist/leg adjusters. Unlike zippers which could eventually corrode, buttons would never let you down and the US Army went all in when it came to the design of these pants.

These made in Japan standards are made of 100% cotton and can complete a classic look or be converted into a more tapered, modern approach to khakis. With avant garde brands and designs out there adding adjustable straps to their utilitarian, dystopian inspired pieces, you have to wonder if pieces like these could have been some sort of inspiration.
