ROY’s RO-1 Indigolover jean is Teeming With Details & Limited to Just 88 Pairs

If you’ve been sleeping on ROY jeans, now is the time to reconsider.

Roy Slaper is famous for his exceptionally well-made jeans and due to the nature of his one-man operation, his drops are few and far between. This particular jean, the RO-1 Indigolover, is a version of Roy’s classic straight leg (slightly tapered) and comes in his proprietary, loomstate 13.5 oz.Blackseed Cone Mills selvedge denim.

In all my years of denim collecting, never have I seen anything so artfully made as the jeans from ROY. Welted belt loops, lined rear pockets, copper rivets… it’s honestly hard to describe just how great these are by details alone. We love breaking in jeans, but with these works of art, part of you will want to just frame them, even though it would a delight to bust in the 15 oz. denim.

With natural indigo patches by Rowland Ricketts and art by Roy himself, these jeans are a treasure—and with only 88 pairs made, they’re a rare treasure at that.
