Double Your Fade Potential The Strike Gold’s 5004ID Double Indigo Jeans

There’s no such thing as too much of a good thing—as long as that thing is indigo. It’s possible to overdo our other vices, but indigo is relatively harmless. Unless, of course, you’re a white couch.

The Strike Gold‘s fabrics are famously textural and the brand’s denim fades have become legendary, but what happens if you double down on indigo? Well, only good things. This inky 15.5oz. denim is loomed using 100% Zimbabwean Cotton that has an infamously long staple that produces fine, heavily textured fabrics. The same unsanforized one wash fabric as their 51xx series, but with an indigo-dyed warp, this denim features a loose-tension weave, providing the fabric with an extra dose of texture.

TSG’s stuff has typically been pretty slim over the years, so this straight tapered 04 fit would be a great way to work some of the brand’s legendary fabrics into your rotation without any discomfort. Other great details like contrasting thread, iron and copper rivets, a deerskin leather waist patch—and a  golden selvedge ID—are all just icing on the cake when it comes to a beastly fabric like this.
