Fade Friday – The Worker Shield MW 021X (1.5 Years, Unknown Washes & Soaks)

When Fahrans Farabi’s submission says ‘come to Indonesia for good fades because of the heat’, you listen.  And no, Fahran isn’t just trying to attract visitors to Indonesia, he’s simply pointing out that when you wear raw denim in the tropical heat of South East Asia, you earn elite fades in little time. You only have to visit our fades section to see how strong Indonesia’s fade game is.

Worn for 1.5 years with plenty of washes and soaks, Fahran’s MW 021X jeans from The Worker Shield show bright, happy indigo loss with whispy whiskers and honeycombs. However, the money shot is definitely how the inner thigh creases stem into the highly worn thighs and down into the knee craters. That sentence out of context might need some explaining.

And yes, craters is a new phrase I just made up for the denim community to describe fade lines around the fronts of the knees. Whiskers, honeycombs, craters. Don’t act like it won’t catch on.
