Selvedge Slub Jeans – Five Plus One

Five Plus One is our weekly series of buyer’s guides. We pick a specific category and dig up five great options along with one that’s a little outside the norm.

Nearly all denimheads appreciate irregularities in their denim, and one of the most popular types is slub. As we’ve discussed many times before, slub is the presence of warp yarns of inconsistent thickness. This results in a great texture in the fabric, which only gets better as fades start to set in. While there are a nearly endless number of slubby jeans, we’ve put together a selection that covers a wide range of brands, fits, and price points.
