The Oldblue Co. Black Stallion Is Your Next Denim Steed

Heavyweight denim is a rite of passage for many of us. For better or worse, many of us have chosen to dance with the starchy, crunchy devil in the past—and some may do so again? If you want to go all-in, why not now? Summer is coming, sure, but you aren’t bound by convention or comfort!

If you’re one of those hardcore denim boiz, you may be interested in The Black Stallion from Oldblue Co., a 21/23 oz. loomstate ultra-black denim woven in Okayama. The black denim has just enough slub to keep things interesting and is cut in a classic slim-straight fit that checks all the boxes.

Copper and copper-finished hardware hold this beast together and a pink selvedge ID adds a cute little pop of color to keep things from getting monotonous. Black chromexcel leather from the world-renowned Horween tannery is used for the ornate waist patch, which is studded by hand. No two patches will be quite alike — and no two pairs of this amazing unsanforized black denim will fade quite the same either.
