Unmarked’s DBS-Micro Texture Derby Takes 30 Days to Make

I haven’t worn real shoes in months and don’t foresee a reason to break this pattern soon, but there will be a time and a place for them at some point in the future. And no matter when/wherever that happens to be, these Unmarked DBS-Micro Textures will work.

Made using 200 different steps over the course of 30 days*, these classic Derby-style shoes feature a micro-textured cowhide upper, a double-leather sole, double stitching, a full rubber base, Goodyear welting, and a channeled veg-tanned leather insole.

*30 days is a long time. The killer bee hornet scare was probably 30 days ago, but I also don’t feel like verifying this information so you can trust me on it, it’s low-stakes.

I have a hard time encouraging shopping during these most Uncertain ™ of Times™(™) — donate, if you’re able, I’ll spare you all the politics but don’t be on the wrong side of history — but if you do shop, make the buy timeless. A pair of discounted Fancy Track Pants might sound good now, but we could emerge in some post-apocalyptic Mad Max scenario and no one wants to wear Fancy Track Pants while fighting War Boys.
