When the designers at Companion asked themselves what details should they include on their Jan 09CO Cozy Japan jeans, their response, in unison, was a resounding “Yes!”.
These 10 oz. Japanese denim”Cozy” summer weight jeans are tapered with a mid-to-high rise. They’ve got a roomy top block making them a friendly option for many body types. However, with details like a cinch back with YKK Japan buckle, two-tone embroidered back pockets, and one-piece selvedge fly with arcuate stitching, these jeans could be cactus-lined and you’d still want to show them off.
But those are just some of the more tame elements. Some crazier details include rusty vintage finishing on the hardware for that ‘jumped into the ocean and hung out in the desert’ look, a Cone Denim yellow lined waistband (also featured in the cinch belt) and actual rope inserted in the hem for a true roping effect. Not quite sure how that works but I am totally into it.
