FDMTL Launches Digital Store Experience With Virtual Exhibition

If COVID-19, social distancing, or a lack of indigo in your life is causing you to feel a bit, well—blue—FDMTL is here to bail you out with its new digital store and virtual exhibition. Taking place at their Tokyo store, the indigo and denim focused brand is giving the public a unique opportunity to shop the shelves and explore past collections in a fully interactive 3-D rendered model.

Not only does this move act as almost retail therapy for those of us concerned about shopping in person or who live in places where stores are still closed, the level of detail of this model elevates this experience into a full-blown denim I-Spy that is an event in itself, in which you could spend an hour just looking at everything.

In the first half of the space, you will find pieces from their current collection for sale, signified by blue and white clickable fields. In the back half of the store, you will find pieces from their past seasons, expertly displayed with the same clickable dots. No part of the store is off limits so don’t be shy, go explore! My favorite would have to be the boro’d out Buddy Lee. What’s yours?
