It’s still 90 degrees in Los Angeles, but I’ve already begun daydreaming of Fall and Winter outfits to come. Uncharacteristically, many of these daydreams involve cardigans… a piece I once deemed stodgy, but which I’m slowly coming around to.
Though some of the cardigans we cover might be a little daunting to a sweater novice, this collab between Dehen 1920 and Division Road Inc. ought to feel approachable. In collegiate shades of red and gold, these worsted wool cardies keep things simple. With a clean silhouette and an altered fit for a modern audience, the cardigans have been knit on 1950s era machines, so they should hold up to whatever wackiness you have planned for them this Fall. Make it an outer layer or slip it under your favorite jacket when things really cool off. The choice is yours!
