Momotaro Weaves a Silk Weft Into Its Latest Type II Trucker Jacket

You may already own all the denim classics. You may have Type 1s, Type IIIs, and all the iterations of the classic five-pocket—but you certainly don’t have all the unique and occasionally wacky fabric blends out there.

One such intriguing denim comes to us from Momotaro, who used a cotton warp and silk weft in their newest Type II jacket. The resulting silk/cotton blend weighs in at 14.7 oz. and demands to be faded! The jacket features one sterling silver button on the right breast pocket and gives us all those essential Type II details in a slimmed-down silhouette. With just enough of the old-school and a couple of eclectic plays on the form, this silky Type II ought to have a special place in just about any denim collection.
