Levi’s Vintage Clothing are back for AW20 with a bang. Known for their meticulous archival reproduction clothing from one of the finest denim archives in all of the land, LVC pride themselves on not only great vintage-inspired garms for the modern-day but also their knack for storytelling.
This season sees the brand dive into the sub-culture of the 1980’s Louisville underground punk scene. And while this may seem an unlikely or surprising choice for a brand who’s known for their traditional early-Twentieth century workwear, this ode to the ’80s fits right into the world that LVC has created.
Splashed with a plethora of pastel colors and autumn shades, one highlight of the collection which makes a return for AW20 is the Bay Meadows Sweatshirt, available in Russet Orange and Dark Purple. Based on a 1930’s sweat from the Levi’s vault, the Bay Meadows sweat is a classic example of the vintage sweatshirt you want but you’ll never find.
100% cotton With saddle seams and a double ‘V’ at the neck, it retains all the hallmarks of an early athletic sweatshirt but fits seamlessly into today’s wardrobe in these eye-catching colors. Finished off with a graphic label in the collar, you really can’t put a foot wrong with this—in any era.
