Fade Friday – Lee 101 (19 Months, 13 Soaks)

H.D. Lee founded Lee in Salinas, Kansas in 1889 but it’s Tom from the UK that’s repping the brand in style today. For the last 19 months, Tom has lived in his Lee 101s, wearing them while walking, cycling and fixing bikes, working in bars, and even exploring a 200ft mine! And although they haven’t been together long, Tom and his trusty jeans have a lot to show for their time together.

From wide, grinning whiskers and subtle thigh creasing to nearly bone-white knees and a very sculpted seat, these jeans are super-expressive. They even developed key scuff fades on the right hip from how Tom’s keys sway. Key fades. Janitors across the world are livid.

Though they have started to develop a real nice wear-pattern, the faint honeycombs show us that these Lee jeans have a way to go yet – something we’re sure Tom won’t be disappointed about.
