Stomp Through Rough Times In Red Wing’s 1989 6″ Round Toe Boot

Snake Oil Provisions just restocked the 1989 Round Toe Roughout Boots they were offering for their sixth anniversary. To all the benefit of you rough out boot enthusiasts out there, turns out Red Wing Heritage thought SOP deserved a few more. Originally a collaboration boot between RWH and United Arrows, this once limited boot is a rugged but soft-feeling shoe that’s sure to grow and change with your wear style, patina on rough-out suede leathers like this one is definitely a thing.

Abilene Suede is breathable and pliable, so the break-in period on these boots will likely be a little bit shorter than on a full-grain leather, or something stiffer. My money is on these feelin’ good from day one.

Made in the USA, each pair is built with Goodyear welt construction, tonal black hardware, stitching and welt, and a Traction Tred outsole. They also ship with some black laces if you want to go completely blacked out.

Available for $330 at Snake Oil Provisions.
