Any denim head worth their salt is used to playing the old mix and match game. We’re always wishing a certain fabric from one brand could be used in a different product, making an imaginary Frankenstein-ed together pair of jeans.
Luckily for the consumer, collaborations are often a way we can get these blended, often one-off, creations. Australia’s Corlection has teamed with Warehouse to bring one of the brand’s most famous fabrics in its much-loved slim-taper cut, the 900xx fit. The collab patch is inspired by the patches on the first run of Warehouse’s famous 1001xx jean, which is considered a modern classic. While Corlection didn’t have access to that legendary denim, they found a roll of vintage 14.5 oz. 800xx raw denim that has naturally oxidized with time, leading to a truly rare and unique fabric.
Dubbed the ‘Traphouse’ jean these Japan-made five-pockets come finished with olive sulfur-dyed HBT pocket bags, raised belt loops, and silver-coated copper buttons.
Available for $254 at Corlection
