Bought from a friend in 9th grade back in 1997, Brendan from Iowa has been using his Harley Davidson tri-fold biker style chain wallet for the last 23 years, keeping it in his back right pocket the whole time.
Predominantly black, some brown is starting to show through around the snap button corners as well as seeping through the cracks where the remnants of the ‘HD’ is stamped. The center of the leather is way raised with the edges super smooth, something that takes a few decades to perfect.
Unlike your clothing which you probably have in a rotation, your wallet should be with you every day and in some ways represents everything you’ve been through. For Brendan this means highs school, college in California, touring with a punk band up and down the west coast, returning to Iowa, and overcoming everything that life threw at him along the way. After all these years he is happy it still exists and we are happy he decided to share it with us
