First off, happy Christmas! This is the last fade of 2020 and despite the ball of shit that this year threw in our faces, we’ve had some great submissions and another year of solid fades. Thank you to faders old and new, and please keep the submissions coming through 2021.

Michael from the Philippines scored these brand new LVC 551Z XX jeans at a local thrift store and has made them his own over the last 15 months. That’s right, age tracked in months because these are his babies. And I get it. Because when you get lucky at the thrift — not only is it exciting — it creates a strong bond that’s hard to forget.

Worn e-v-e-r-y day and washed often —normal people rejoice— it comes as no surprise that these jeans are hardly recognizable from day 1. They’ve developed nice even fading across the board with whiskers starting to peek through on the lap, thighs, and knees. Basically, where these jeans are right now is the perfect foundation for sensational fades to come.
