Fade Friday – A.P.C. Petit New Standard (5.5 Years, 3 Soaks)

Forget joggers, Gary from Saskatchewan exercises in his A.P.C. Petit New Standards. And with results like this, can you blame him? No, seriously, from errands and walks to workouts — including squats and lunges — Gary clearly has FONF (fear of not fading) and for over 5 years has worn these jeans whenever he could to maximize their fading potential.

You simply cannot argue with those deeply embedded, explosive honeycombs—no real gradual element to them, just, right there in your face. Same thing with the knee craters, heavily concentrated right at the bend without much fuss in the surrounding area. The lap and upper legs show the most dye loss which gives the jeans some variety.

At the 10 year mark, I can only imagine what new fades will appear on these A.P.C.’s . For now, I’m happy to admire what we have here.
