Tender Turns Vinyl Into Punchcard Knitting Data To Weave Its Low End Theory Cardigan

Bugging’ Out by A Tribe Called Quest made Tender’s The Low End Theory Cardigan. You read that right. No, we don’t mean the track ‘inspired it’-  we mean that William, the proprietor of Tender Co., literally took the song Buggin’ Out off the Tribe record and converted the track into punchcard knitting data. We’ve never seen a knit pattern as original as this. You’ll definitely want to blast some Tribe while you’re rocking this one.

The knit was framed by hand in Scotland, and it appears as a classic Fair Isle knit with a little color and flair, but it’s far more than that. This is as unique as any of Tender’s garments, and that’s saying something. This 100% wool cardigan is a dizzying palette of yellow, green, and red, finished with Corozo nut button closures, contrast ribbing, and Tender label.

Each cardigan comes with a NOS punch card and record-sleeve style insert card that denotes the iconic Tribe track.
