American Trench Silver Crew Socks Review

This piece is a part of our Great White Sock Review, which runs down all the different white cotton socks we could get our hands on.

May the power of silver compel you! These socks from American Trench claim to neutralize foot odors by having a small percentage of silver in the knit of an otherwise perfectly fine sock.

Fit

The fit on these is slightly loose with an overhanging toe seam. See how it goes off the edge of both sides on the top there?

Fabric

Despite the precious metals included in the fabric, they didn’t feel all that exceptional. They were thinner and looser, more similar to the socks I tested at the lower price points.

Construction

Construction was acceptable, nothing exceptional.

Conclusion

My feet weren’t stinky enough to test their odor blocking properties (which is more of an indictment of how sedentary I’ve been than that my feet don’t smell), but otherwise nothing too exceptional on offer at American Trench.
