Faizal or Fades-All, as he’ll be nicknamed from now on, has brought us his pair of Pure Blue Japan jeans and they are some of the most textured we’ve seen for a minute. For 3 years and 2 months, Faizal has been fading it up in Kuala Lumpur, mostly by riding his motorcycle. Oh, and just to rub it in a bit, he says he mostly just wears these on the weekends. Yeah, you know, just those casual weekend fades that us mortals don’t seem to be able to get. I can hear the hardcore 365-day a year denim heads foaming at the mouth!

With just one soak and one wash under their belt loops, these jeans have achieved indigo mosaic status. The fade lines are great and all, but it’s the neppy, snowstorm texture that coats the entire surface that does it for me.
