Mister Freedom‘s California Lot. 64 SC66 Jeans are sole proof that if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Just tweak it. Based on the cut of the 60s levi’s 501s, these jeans feature a mid-rise, straight leg with a slightly tapered silhouette that has never gone out of style.
Made in California from Sugar Cane 1966 14 oz. indigo Japanese denim and given the hand-debossed natural veg-tan cowhide leather MF patch of approval, not only can you guarantee the quality of these unsanforized jeans, the fades are going to be, well, you don’t even need to imagine, just look at the last photo on the product page.
Featuring your classic 5 pocket pattern, traditional selvedge outseam, hidden rivets, and everything else you’d want to geek out on, MF just had to use vintage NOS woven plaid fabric for the pocket bags as if these jeans weren’t already tops. Even the flasher is worthy of framing if you even decide to take it off! And when you put so much thought into details that are meant to be disposed of or are only meant for the wearer to see, well, maybe that’s why these jeans have long sold out in the past and will likely do so again.
