Wet socks suck so much. The first collaborative effort from the venerated footwear manufacturer and the powerhouse Canadian retailer, this mad functional redux took the classic 70 Hi silhouette and retrofit it with a premium suede upper, a leather-wrapped mudguard, heel- and toecap, nylon taped heel pulls, a raised black outsole with a black foxing stripe, a customized “Haven” heel plate at the left shoe, AND a GORE-TEX® membrane that provides both waterproof and breathable protection — keeping them toes warm and dry all winter long.
Did the 70 Hi seem like a ripe candidate for a Gorped out makeover? Not exactly, but let’s not fight a good thing.
