Fade Friday – Japan Blue JB0401 (2.5 Years, 1 Wash, 1 Soak)

Syazwan in Singapore was out to prove that “Japan Blue” was a misnomer. Making a complete mockery of the name, Syazwan forced the company to rebrand themselves as “Japan White After 2 years” after his jeans lost all their indigo dye in the thighs from excessive wear.

For 2.5 years, our man has been wearing his Japan Blue JB401 jeans to work at an engineering plant and has given them one soak and one sea wash. And if we are getting technical, out of that time, he has worn these jeans every day for 2 years. If you were wondering if consistency is key, the truth lies in the fades!

LED lap whiskers and knee veins compliment chalk-white thighs, but not lost is the phone fade of the right front pocket with the bottom corner perfectly blowing out. The honeycombs behind the knees are just bare tree branches in disguise. And the seat? That seat has seen definitely seen some things. But for obvious reasons, I’m not upset it can’t talk.
