The folks at 3sixteen are undoubtedly masters of their craft, but not all their wares get equal praise. Despite a wide offering of solid jeans and classic outerwear, it’s their exquisite garment-dyed t-shirts that have really grabbed my attention.
Garment-dyeing is in the name, garments are made in their entirety before being immersed in dye. These tees, like all garment-dyed t-shirts, need to be washed several times in order to rid the fabric of excess dye and lock in the new colors. This gives the tees a somewhat lived-in feel and a subtle fade to the already muted earth tones that 3sixteen likes to use.
This run includes long and short sleeve options, each of which are available in “clove” or “military green.” Wear them big and wash them often for an immaculately slouchy feel, pair them with some vintage 501s and you’ve got a great casual spring-time look!
