SDA Pays Tribute To Japanese Garb Repair With Its Noragi Sashiko Coverall

I always get excited when I see certain words pop up whilst searching for that next purchase. This definitely applies to the words “sashiko” and “coverall,” so you can imagine how intrigued I was when I saw this incredible offering in the form of the Noragi Sashiko Coverall from Studio D’Artisan.

A technique and finish that was born out of necessity and without any strict guidelines other than to increase the life span of the garment,  SDA has mastered the craftsmanship and detail level of modern sashiko and applied it to a garment in modern times. Making Sashilo look authentic can be very difficult, but SDA has really hit this one out of the park.

This classic coverall is made from 100% original “Noragi Sashiko” jacquard fabric, washed once to really add even more to that “days gone by “aesthetic. Additional features include double chest and waist pockets, an inner coat pocket, and Tagua nut buttons that really compliment the blue shade of the fabric and bring it together.
