Whitesville’s Crew Sweatshirts Are Loopwheeled In Japan From U.S. Cotton

Franklin & Poe just got a fresh batch of Whitesville Crew Sweatshirts that all discerning sweatshirt lovers out there should take a look at. It’s April, so chances are it’s still cold and wet where you live, so an extra layer like this is still necessary- all the more necessary when you realize you still don’t have a loopwheeled crew in your closet. Whitesville is Toyo Enterprise‘s vintage-inspired basics brand, and while they mainly produce soft and solid tees and sweaters, they aren’t exactly basic.

These Crew Sweatshirts are loopwheeled on vintage circular knitting machines in Japan, using a hefty 13 oz. cotton knit from the States that makes for a soft handle. And thanks to the loopwheeling process, don’t even have any side seams – no more itchy ribs! The vintage design includes double V-neck detail, a slightly boxy fit, and ribbing on the collar, cuffs, and hem.

Have you seen that open-ended cotton texture on the heather gray variant? I said damn.
