Dawson Denim Catches A Neppy Wave With TSPTR

When I can tell a collaboration has happened organically, it immediately grabs my attention, but then when one of the brands involved is based in my own backyard, then the whole thing just hits different.

Brighton-based Dawson Denim has teamed up with fellow UK imprint TSPTR to create a collection that really encapsulates both brand’s identities. Kicking off the collab are classic, co-branded tees and sweats, all of which are ethically made in Portugal from 100% Portuguese cotton. They feature 2 variations of Peanuts graphics as we’ve come to expect from TSPTR and come in a selection of vibrant, summer-ready colors.

Next up is really where Dawson takes center stage. We have the Neppy Zuma Pant, a 1960s-inspired beach jam as worn by big wave surfer Corky Carroll. Named after Zuma Beach in Malibu, these charmingly slouchy pants are available in either a light indigo 7 oz. denim or a mid-weight darker 10 oz. selvedge – both of which are stuffed with nep and character. Both are made in the UK from one panel and feature a relaxed fit, drawstring waist, and two slanted front pockets. Wear ’em loose and wear ’em proud.

The capsule is finished off with a Daisy Mae hat again in the aforementioned fabrics, and if all this wasn’t enough, you even have the choice of two custom pennants which commemorate the collaboration.

Each purchase comes with a limited edition postcard printed by Dawson’s fellow Brightonians, The Private Press.

The collection launches at 07:00AM EST at Dawson Denim, with prices ranging from £25GBP(~$35USD) – £240 (~$331USD)
