When Iron Heart does a military-style jacket, you just know it’s gonna be nice. And the brand’s newly released 13 wale Corduroy Tanker Jacket is no exception. They’ve taken what was originally a windbreaker issued to American soldiers and added their meticulous Japanese craftsmanship to it, the only way that Iron Heart can.
Whilst Fury was a somewhat period-correct war movie, I wish Brad Pitt’s Don ‘Wardaddy’ Collier could have rocked this jawn in at least one scene. It’s unlined, but the 13 wale-per-inch corduroy is gonna keep you nice and toasty thanks to its naturally insulating weave. The two-way zipper with fabric tabs and two side pockets add even more function to this classic look.
Finished in black with a glorious contrasting brown polyester ribbing, this Tanker jacket will look the business when paired with a pair of faded 888s.
