Blue In Green Stocks Up On One Of Samurai’s Widest Cuts

Your favorite denim brands’ favorite denim brand Samurai offers yet another sublime pair in one of its widest cuts. As always, it’s tough to know where to begin with these, as their extensive list of details does a really good job in making you want to part with your money.

Let’s start from the top. These are made in Japan from a  17 oz. raw selvedge denim, woven from hefty yarns on antique looms set to weave at low tension. This means the resulting fabric — named after Bushido, a moral code relating to Edo period Samurai — comes out with a rough slubby surface texture that will undoubtedly yield some heavy texture and handsome fades. The relaxed straight fit makes these jeans perfect for everyday use, so it won’t be long until those fades start coming thick and fast.

Each pair is finished with iron pine buttons, copper rivets, and a sheepskin leather waist patch. The red HBT pocket bags are an amazing hidden detail, and if all that wasn’t enough, this is a special export model that is not available in Japan.
