Sometimes what we need in our lives is a little contrast. If everything matches and falls seamlessly into place, we may not ever really appreciate it. Sometimes it’s good to shop in this way, choosing things that stand out, even from themselves!
Lost & Found‘s recent collaboration with Alden has just that contrast we’re looking for. Two dramatically different leathers don’t clash, instead, they coexist in perfect harmony. Made on Alden’s Barrie last, the boot features Chromexcel leather on the vamp, and a black suede on the shaft. The so-called Michigan boot is welted upon a commando sole and the whole ensemble looks mighty handsome.
Suede and chromexcel are a great pairing, much better than embezzlement and neck makeups. But who are we to judge?
