I think some of us have moved on from bifolds by now. I have no evidence for this statement other than a) the fact I haven’t seen one in a hot minute, and b) I can’t remember the last time I paid for anything with cash. But let’s face it, card is certainly King these days, and the cardholder is sprinting far ahead of the bifold.
Ezra Arthur‘s Pocket Caddy is a really neat upgrade on the classic card holder design, made from full-grain leather sourced from S.B. Foot Tannery that’s destined to patina beautifully. It features a roomy middle pocket for cards or folded cash a more snug back pocket exclusively for your most-used cards. I’m guessing this will be your library card if it’s towards the end of the month.
The unique dual front pocket design is to hold a small torch and knife, or anything you like if you’re name isn’t Ray Mears or Bear Grylls. Each piece is finished off with 2 subtle branding hits on the back and coming in equally classic brown or black.
