Suede trucker jackets are an iconic style. Whether you find yourself wearing jeans, chinos, or even something more formal, the suede trucker is easy to work into your wardrobe. And while the leather jackets are usually too hot to wear year round, many suede trucker jackets are unlined and suitable for chillier summer eves. This list isn’t *entirely* composed of unlined suede truckers, but whether or not this stipulation is important to you we think you’ll be able to find a new, favorite jacket on this list.
1) Nudie Jeans: Robby Suede Jacket
While Nudie is best known for slim-fitting raw denim, their Robby Suede Jacket shows just how great their offerings are in other areas. Made from a bright red goatskin suede, this jacket features an unlined both (albeit with lined sleeves for comfort), modified type III pattern, and custom branded buttons.

2) Valstar: Slim Fit Suede Trucker Jacket
Valstar’s Slm Fit Suede Trucker Jacket is a great interpretation of Levi’s Type III trucker jacket pattern. Made in Italy from an almost iridescent grey sheepskin suede, this jacket is a combination of both contrasting and tonal stitching to help create a clean silhouette. It’s finished with matte black buttons and is a compelling option if you’re looking for quality suede trucker and don’t mind paying for it.

3) Buck Mason: Full Grain Suede Trucker Jacket
Buck Mason’s Full Grain Suede Trucker Jacket is evidence that quality suede outerwear exists without needing to break the bank. Made from thick, tan suede, this trucker jacket is definitely a bit more casual than some of the other jackets on this list but that’s also the traditional look for this style.

4) Todd Snyder: Dylan Jacket
Todd Snyder’s Dylan Jacket is a great option if you’re looking for a slim fitting suede trucker jacket. Available in six colors of calf suede, these made in Italy jackets make an excellent layering piece. This jacket is a bit divisive given its use of snaps rather than buttons, but if that doesn’t bother you then you might just have found your next jacket.

5) Iron Heart: 49-J Modified Type III
Iron Heart has some of the best garment details around, whether they’re making heavyweight raw denim, thick leather belts, or even suede trucker jackets such as their 49-J Modified Type III. Made in Japan by Four Speed Leathers, this jacket is made from a nappy steer suede with a full cotton twill lining, bartack reinforcement, and copper buttons.

Plus One – Tom Ford: Slim-Fit Shearling-Trimmed Suede Trucker Jacket
Tom Ford isn’t a brand we cover a lot here, mainly due to their high-fashion focus. That said, their Slim-Fit Shearling-Trimmed Suede Trucker Jacket was a perfect fit for today’s list, and features some truly gorgeous details. Made in Italy from 100% with shearling trim and a down lining, this jacket isn’t the summer lightweight that many of the other jackets on this list are—but its attractive silhouette, zippered and snapped closure, and front hand pockets make it an awesome suede trucker. While the price is ridiculous, and in all honestly much of that comes from the designer’s name, we couldn’t look past this piece for our Plus One slot.
