Winter Session’s Adventure Pack Blends Waxed Cotton & Veg-Tan Leather

One of the only good things that Lockdown has instilled in our brains—nestled nicely next to the cabin fever—is the renewed appreciation of the great outdoors along with the desire to spend extended periods of time enjoying it. This, plus the arrival of summer instantly makes me think of; hikes, long bike rides, and picnics. All of the aforementioned pursuits require a sturdy-yet-steezy backpack and the Adventure Pack from Winter Session is exactly that.

Based on a vintage rucksack from West Germany that co-founder Roy Katz’ father carried on a solo bike trip throughout New England in his early 20s, each one is cut and sewn by Roy himself in their Denver workshop using their signature 16 oz. waxed cotton canvas and undyed veg-tan leather. Featuring 37 liters of space alongside an array of pockets, both visible and hidden, and finished with solid brass hardware and zipper—this is literally a bag for life! Each one is in the USA made to order (with about a 3 week lead time) and comes individually stamped and numbered.

Available from Winter Session priced at $429
