I challenged myself to get through this whole write-up without using a single glaringly obvious pun, I must say though, I did go ape when I saw these pants… Surely I can have that one? Anyway, it’s no secret that we all love a good repro or something that gives us the tough guy steez without actually having to do any actual tough guy stuff.

The Warehouse & Co. Lot. 1097 USMC Herringbone Monkey Pants in OD Green are just that. Made in Japan from a 100% cotton Herringbone twill, these are a loose fit all over, but let’s just get to that incredible monkey pant pocket configuration, shall we? You’re greeted with 2 expansive cargo pockets on the sides and an even bigger one across the back. The sides ones were originally meant for ration tins and the back for a poncho but I’m thinking you could get your entire daily carry in just one of these bad boys.

Contrasting lighter accent fabric on the waistband, belt loops, and pocket flaps is a nice touch, we’re also treated to custom buttons and a button fly. Welcome to the jungle.
