Shockoe Atelier Adds 50s-Inspired Silhouette To Its Denim Lineup

Shockoe Atelier has finally added a Dad jean to their indigo arsenal in the form of the relaxed straight Vintage Kojima. If you’re the type of person who needs plenty of room in your pants, you’ll likely love the cut of these mid-century-inspired dungarees. There is always room in my denim drawer for at least one pair of relaxed straights, and if you wear some for an extended period of time, you’ll know why. Fade them to hell, pair them with an oversized hoodie, and you’ll fit right in with the current trend of Y2K fashion.

The Vintage Kojimas come with all the details you’ve come to know and love from the Richmond, VA denim powerhouse: Custom stamped black coated rivets and buttons, two-piece waistband, multi-machine construction, bartack reinforcements, with high-density serging on the inside fly and inseam. Made from 14.5 oz. Collect Mills raw selvedge denim, each pair is hand-numbered and signed, and comes with free repairs for the life of the jean – a.k.a. a really long time.
