Benzak Denim Developers Add Two New Work Shirts To Its Roster

The BWS-01 Work Shirt from Benzak is a flannel that can compete with the best of ’em. Stick with me here and you’ll see why.

Let’s start with the fabric itself, a 100% cotton 8 oz. flannel that has been woven exclusively for Benzak by Teviz near Porto in Portugal. Woven at a relatively high tension to make it compact and durable, it’s also been brushed on both sides for a softer touch with the inside being done even more for added comfort.

Moving on to the fit, this is Benzak’s take on a classic workwear style shirt with a splash of militaria thrown in for good measure, it’s a regular relaxed fit with a shorter body begging to be worn untucked. Details on these include 2 front chest flap pockets, heavy-duty stitching throughout, black cats eye buttons, side seam gusset, chain stitch run-offs, and a nice subtle hit of embroidered branding. Coming in two Portugal-made plaid variants, these button-downs have been meticulously designed to not only be timeless, but also accompany the rest of the collection, it’s tough to see where you’d go wrong with one of these.
