Toggle Into This Duffle-Centric Cotton Jacket From Blue Blue Japan

If you’re someone who’s been meaning to dress a little more like Paddington bear, you’ll likely be interested in the above images. Don’t be shy, read on here.

Taking the famous toggle closures from the iconic Duffle Coat (as worn by General Bernard ‘Monty’ Montgomery and everyone’s favorite bear, Paddington) and putting them on something a little less hefty was a bright idea. Blue Blue Japan dispensed with the extremely heavy wool designs typically associated with the duffle and put them on a Military Cloth Jacket. This tightly-w0ven cotton will certainly protect you from the elements, but won’t stifle you in quite the same way as traditional thick, woolen duffle cloth or melton wool.

With a hood and work jacket details this satisfies some of the duffle coat’s core details while pushing the envelope and doing something different.
