If you told me this AW21 lookbook from Clutch Cafe was a little late, I’d agree with you. (It is 2022, if you were paying attention.) But I’d also say, “better late than never.”
Clutch Cafe’s lookbooks are always something to look forward to (or wait around for). Few retailers do such a good job of combining Japanese and heritage brands for looks that are contemporary, exciting, and never too repro-coal-miner, and they sew all of this up with lush photography and a bonus playlist of tasteful tunes to boot.
Anchored by irrefutably classic silhouettes and styles (Alden loafer, anyone?), every fit is complemented by exciting textures, fabrics, and colors. The lookbook does what a good one ought, make you feel that by shopping at Clutch, you will enter another world, that your style and life will all change. That may not entirely be true, but you know it wouldn’t hurt to pick up some nice new Warehouse jeans or a red Heimat rollback sweater. Another standout is the Vague Watch Co. “Explorers” watch that uncannily reproduces the iconic Rolex Explorer 1016, for a fraction of the price.
Dig deep in the lookbook and enjoy exploring the gorgeous outfits. Maybe you’ll find something to help you start your new year off right, even if that is just a few new tunes and some jawns for your 2022 wishlist.
