Fade Friday – Voûte Denim Company Tracker (1 Year, 2 Washes, 1 Soak)

Brain Kenji in Singapore is a man of few words and prefers to let his Voûte Denim Company Tracker Jeans do the talking. And after 12 months, 2 washes and 1 soak, they have a lot to say! Having used this pair for the Indigo Invitational 2020, Brain has pushed these jeans to the limit, thrashing and trashing them on a daily bases to get the most wear possible in such a short time frame.

His wide-awake denim is the poster child for what well-worn denim should look like. It doesn’t hurt that they’re faded way beyond their single year. They’re a blue buffet of all the indigo hues under the sun, from washed out and dark ‘n’ grainy to everything in between. Not to mention they tick all the boxes when it comes to creasing, especially those truly angular like honeycombs. Thanks to the way Brian stacks his jeans, there is even some accordion-ing as low as the ankle line. Who needs a high cuff?
