This Tailor Toyo Sukajan Is Two Souvenir Jackets In One

We love the Toyo brands for making those pieces we know we’ll never actually be able to find or afford in a vintage store. Tailor Toyo is making those vintage grails right now and good lord, do they look good.

This Sukajan is a reversible souvenir jacket, much like those worn by American occupying forces in Japan after the Second World War, which Tailor Toyo is actually credited with pioneering. The proprietary rayon used to make the jacket was developed by the fastidious folks at Toyo, to ensure only the most accurate materials were used. One side features a green velvet with an eagle, while the other is a black backdrop on which a map of Japan is carefully embroidered.

Made in Japan and worth every penny, you’re going to want to check this out. It’s head and shoulders above the other Sukajans out there.
