Get Gaudy With Loop & Weft’s Merino Super Lamb Switch Panel Sweater

Full disclosure: I’m a mark for a weird knit. I could be in the midst of a shopping moratorium that’s actually going well and then I’ll see some knit that looked like it caused a production manager clinical levels of anxiety and immediately forget my name, pull out my card and nullify any recent personal growth as I pour more knitwear into a bottomless void. Anyways, this Loop & Weft Merino Super Lamb Switch Panel Crewneck Sweater isn’t the weirdest, but it certainly lets the knit do the talking and would make a great addition to any void (or closet).

Inspired by ‘80s British switch-panel motifs and crafted in Japan from a 100% extra-fine lambswool—the super soft kind from Geelong, Australia, to be precise—this one features a ribbed crew neckline, ribbing at the cuffs and hem, linked seam construction, and a relaxed fit, making it basically unassailable.

And considering we have anywhere between two and ten weeks of winter left, there’s plenty of time to add it to the rotation.
