Any new release from our friends at Ginew is guaranteed to be loaded with; meaning, power, and have a dynamite fit, and their new Michigan Chino is no exception.
Inspired by the founders’ ancestral homelands on the shores of Lake Michigami, the Michigan Chino fuses elements of classic chinos and 5-pocket jeans design to make a versatile five-pocket pant in an 8 oz. Japanese khaki twill. They feature a regular rise, a full top block, and a slight taper, which should make for an easy-to-wear and easy-to-pair addition to the wardrobe. But as always with Ginew, the most important design elements require a bit of examination, the custom pocket bags feature contemporary Oneida and Ojibwe designs that pay homage to the Great Lake, and to the original occupants of the land around its shores.
