Do The Balloon-Leg Boogie With These Porter Classic Linen ‘Bebop’ Pants

We had a single 60º day here in New York and I’m ready to vacuum-seal my entire winter wardrobe. I get that the temperatures didn’t last and it’s currently Uncomfortableº out, but I’m feeling how I’m feeling. But whenever we do officially thaw out, these Porter Classic Farmer’s Linen Bebop Pants are the right kind of pants.

Indigo-dyed and made in Japan from a 100% linen fabric breezier than a boardwalk, these perfectly baggy pants feature a zipper fly, pleated front, slanted pockets at the waist, a welt pocket at the back, and a tapered, cropped fit.

And for whatever it’s worth, I’m not telling anyone to just shop through these genuinely terrifying times like there aren’t far more pressing issues at hand. Spending money right now is weird, I get that. But hopefully, sometime soon it won’t feel so weird and, if we’re lucky, it’ll line up with peak Wide, Short, Linen Trouser Season. (That only sounds more specific than it is.)
