Poten Swaps Leather For Cotton On Its Trio Of Summer-Ready ‘Rudeback’ Caps

I like to think I know a thing or two about caps since I can’t think of a time where one wasn’t part of my fit. With that said, when I stumbled upon Poten, I knew I had found something special and very relevant to my interests.

Hailing from Japan and boasting production in the same factory that supplies the Japanese Major League Baseball teams, a factory that only works with Poten outside of this partnership. The Rudeback Baseball Cap is a new addition for SS22 and is cut from a 70/30 cotton/nylon mix which is then garment-dyed for that worn-in look.

It’s an 8-panel construction with a medium crown height and brim length, tonal eyelets and inner sweatband add to the overall clean aesthetic, with the whole thing finished off with an adjustable backstrap for that perfect fit. And with most Poten caps featuring a leather sweatband and/or adjustable back strap, the Rudeback Cap is the first Poten we’ve seen suitable for all you veggies and vegans out there.

Available now in an equally tasteful Blue, Green, and Orange from Clutch Cafe priced at $150
