National Athletic Goods’ Slim Gym Pant Mock Twist Terry have everything you could hope for. They’re made in Canada from 11oz. Japanese fleece and feature front hand pockets, a single back pocket, contrast ribbing at the waist and hem, and a woven drawcord to ensure a good fit. Available in tw0 neutral colorways, these sweats are a no-brainer if you like the style.

2) Samurai: Loopwheel Sweatpants


If you are looking for the very best sweatpants money can buy, then you should definitely consider Samurai’s Loopwheel Sweatpants. They’re made in Japan from a medium weight loopwheel fabric woven in Wakayama Prefecture, and feature two needle stitching, a wide waistband with drawstring, two front hand pockets, and a single back pocket. The raw hem is a nice touch that won’t be appreciated by everyone so make sure you want something a little looser at the ankles before adding to cart.

3) American Giant: Classic Sweatpant


American Giant is a favorite brand for many in the sweats game and with good reason: they make great sweatpants (and sweatshirts for that matter) in a wide range of colors and sizes. We’ve chosen their Classic Sweatpants today because they’re, well, a classic. Made in USA from 9.2oz. cotton fabric, these sweatpants feature a tubular drawcord, channeled waistband, double needle stitching, and the two front pocket/one back pocket combination that is so popular on classic sweats.

4) American Trench: Pigment Dyed Sweatpants


If you want a super cool looking pair of sweatpants but don’t want to pay through the nose then American Trench’s Pigment Dyed Sweatpants might be just the ticket. Available in yam, indigo, and raven colorways, these uniquely colored sweatpants are slim fitting with a scrunched-up waistband and no drawstring. Each pair is made in Detroit and garment-dyed in Philadelphia.

5) House of Blanks: Sweatpants


House of Blanks produces sweats in Canada for many high-end brands, but their products are available directly under the HoB name for a fraction of the price. Made from 12oz. cotton fleece, these sweatpants are on the heavier end of the spectrum ensuring you’ll stay warm for these final few cold weeks. With a wide waistband and narrow elasticated cuffs, these pants ensure that comfortable fit we associate with sweats.

Plus One – Noma t.d.: Hand Dye Twist Pants – Navy/Brown


If you are looking for a super uniquely dyed pair of sweatpants then Noma t.d. should be a top contender. Their Hand Dye Twist Pants are hand dyed to a novel, tri-color finish and feature a twisted leg pattern for an even more striking look. They’re made in Japan and feature a slightly short inseam, ensuring you’ll have minimal breaks around your ankle. While you can get these on your own, to complete the look you’ll really want the matching sweatshirt.
