Fade Friday – Raleigh Denim Graham (4.5 Years, 6 Washes)

Jesse down in Mexico has been perfecting his Raleigh Denim for 4.5 years now, which is why we’re presenting him with an honorary degree in Fade-ology. Used mostly for skating, these jeans carry the imprints of trial, error, and eventual success on the board which translates to intense, hard-earned wear.

Featuring a greenish, dirty yellow hue, the fades have a dramatic look to them and mirror the aging of a hard-worn pair of vintage denim that might have been found out in the desert. From its gill-like whiskers which reach as far as the knees to the perfectly seasoned seat and oasis honeycombs, Jesse really left an original mark. But it’s the hem chop when things were getting a little too raggedy and the absolute monster right knee explosion that makes these jeans truly stand out, reminding us that raw denim is meant to be worn hard. They can handle it. And if they’re worth their weight in indigo, they’ll look cooler for it!
