Rats Constructs Handsome Gradient Stripe Cardigan From Kid Mohair Blend

It’s well and truly cardigan season, something which I never thought I’d say given the fact that I’m a bit late to the cardigan party. But let me tell you.. once you go to that party once, it’s very hard not to become a regular. Cardigans are one of those pieces that can hang on through spring and even carry on through summer in some parts of the globe, and Rats has a cracker for us, here.

The Japanese brand has come correct with its Mohair Cardigan this season. Made in Japan from a 30%/30%/25%/15% Kid Mohair, nylon, acrylic, and wool mix, this button-up beauty comes in a 60s Americana inspired relaxed fit and in one of, if not one of the most wearable colors – grey.

Kid Mohair is sourced from South African Angora goats during the second half of their lives when their hair has matured and it’s then blended with the aforementioned fibers to ensure strength and durability. That gradient design has really got us going, and the custom branded buttons with Rats’ “way of life” slogan are a lovely detail on a solid cardi.
